Two large asteroids to fly close to Earth on Sep 8

NASA discovered the two asteroids on Sunday, Sep 5 by a telescope in Arizona.
The first asteroid known as 2010 RX30 measures 10 to 20 metres and will pass within 248,000 kilometres of Earth at 0951 GMT; while the second known as 2010 RF12, measuring some 6 to 14 metres, will zip by 79,000 kilometres from the planet at 2212 GMT, NASA said.
The asteroids will be visible from moderate strength amateur telescopes.
The US space agency pointed out that even though it was fairly common to see asteroids come within that distance of Earth regularly, it is rare for two to do so in such a short period of time.
