Two arrested in German Bakery blast case

Pune, Sep 8: In a major breakthrough in the Pune German Bakery blast case, two people were on Wednesday, Sep 8 arrested for their suspected involvement in the Feb 13 terror strike.

The two people were reportedly arrested from the Marathwada region in Maharashtra for assisting the terror plot by providing logistical support.

Further details on the arrested persons are awaited.

On Feb 13, 2010, an explosion rocked Pune's famous Germany Bakery. Seventeen people including three foreigners were killed in the blast and over 65 were injured.

The bakery, located close to the Osho Ashram, is specially famous in the foreign tourist circuit. The blast also took place with the bakery was bustling with people.
