Babri title verdict to be delivered on Sep 24

Lucknow, Sep 8: The long awaited verdict on Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid row will be held on Sep 24.

The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court will pronounce the judgment and will decide who owns the 2.77 acres of disputed land on which Babri Masjid stood.

Security forces have been put on high alert in Ayodhya and major cities of Uttar Pradesh. All leaves of security personnel have been cancelled by the Uttar Pradesh government.

Babri Masjid was demolished on Dec 6, 1992 and it was followed by riots in many cities across India.
