Lucknow: 6-year-old raped by neighbour

Lucknow, Sep 7: Police is on the look out for a man, who allegedly held a six-year-old girl captive and raped her on Sunday, Sep 5.

Parents of the minor victim have identified the accused as Ramesh Valmiki, a neighbour.

Valmiki allegedly took the child, held her captive inside his house and raped her on Sunday, Sep 5, the police said on Monday, Sep 6.

The parents, who later learnt of the incident, lodged an FIR, the police informed, adding that Valmiki is now absconding.
