Capt Kohli death: Antony orders new probe

Chandigarh, Sep 7: The mysterious death of Shaurya Chakra awardee Captain Sumit Kohli case was opened for more investigations on Tuesday, Sep 7 by the defence ministry.

The Army had claimed that Captain Kohli committed suicide due to domestic problems while the officer's family blamed the Army behind his death.

Captain Kohli's mother Veena Kohli had met Defence Minister AK Antony on Aug 28 and demanded that her son's death to be re-investigated.

Captain Kohli's wife Dipika Kohli had also questioned Army's suicide theory."If he shot himself with an AK-47, his face wouldn't have been intact. He would have had multiple fractures," Dipika had said
