Oz 'Fritzl' who raped two daughters for over a decade jailed for 11-years

Melbourne, Sept 6 (ANI): A man from Melbourne, Australia, has been jailed for 11 years, for abusing his two daughters for more than a decade.

The Victorian County Court was told the man abused the girls, had sex with them and took photos of them naked, from when they were young children until they were teenagers between 1981 and 1995.

And as he abused one of his young daughters he told her: "That was something which Daddy is allowed to do".

Even after the jury found him guilty of 17 sex offences, including 11 counts of incest, the father showed no remorse and continues to deny the charges.

The sentencing judge said the girls, who appeared to have a privileged upbringing with overseas holidays, regular skiing trips and holidays at the beach, were harbouring the dark secret throughout their formative years.

"Instead of protecting your daughters as you were obliged to do, you defiled them time after time," the Age quoted the judge as saying.

The father, who was ordered to serve at least eight years in prison before being eligible for parole, will be a registered sexual offender for life. (ANI)
