HP's ex-CEO likely to join Oracle

California, Sep 6: After resigning from HP, former CEO of the company, Mark Hurd now may join Software giant, Oracle as top executive, The Wall Street Journal reported.

However, Oracle's board still needs to approve any appointment.

53-year-old Hurd, under whose leadership HP has become one of the most successful PC maker, was accused sexual harassment by a former marketing contractor in Aug 2010.

Though he was released from the harassment case but found guilty as he violated HP's code of business conduct.

After all such allegations, Hurd resigned from the company.

According the sources, the exact nature of Hurd's new job could not be learned as the talks between Hurd and the company was on process.
