Pak govt releases 80 Indian fishermen

Rajkot, Sep 5: Over 80 fishermen of the Saurashtra region captured by Pakistan Marin security reached their hometowns after they were released on Saturday, Sep 4.

According to the officials another batch of nearly 100 fishermen has also been released from Pakistani Jails and have entered into Indian territory on Sunday, Sep 5, morning.

"One batch of nearly 101 fishermen was released by the Pakistan government nearly three days ago and they have reached their home towns. The health condition of fishermen is quite good," said a senior official of the fisheries department, VS Mali.

The released fishermen of second batch is expected to reach Rajkot tomorrow afternoon, he said.
