Newly married Shashi Tharoor in temple trouble

New Delhi, Sep 5: The newly married Shashi Tharoor is in trouble. Kerala Temple authorities have lodged complaint against Shashi Tharoor for allegedly entering the temple's sanctum sanctorum with his newly wed wife Sunanda Pushkar.

Temple authorities allege that Tharoor entered the sanctum sanctorum of the Guruvayoor Temple which, according to the temple's rules, no worshipper is allowed to enter.

The main priest of the temple is expected to announce action against the couple on Sunday, Sep 5.

Shashi Tharoor, 54, had tied the knot with Pushkar, a Dubai-based entrepreneur in a Malayali wedding ceremony in his ancestral home at Elavanchery village near Palakkad in Kerala on Aug 22.
