Hostage crisis: Bihar CM calls emergency meeting

Patna, Sep 4: After the seven days that the four police officials were abducted by the Naxals in Bihar, Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar called for an emergency all party meeting on Saturday, Sep 4.

Many people have raised questions that why the state governmnet had taken so much time to take a solution of the cops hostage crisis.

Naxals abducted four police officials on Sunday, Aug 29 and demanded to free their eight jailed colleagues and to remove the security from the Maoists dominated area.

After giving two deadlines, on Sep 2, the body of one cop was found dead.

Naxals has threatened that the remaining three also will face the same consequence unless untill the state would fulfill their demands.

However, condemning the rebels over the whole issue, CM Nitish Kumar on Sep 2 stated that the state is ready for open talks.
