Health Ministry holds meeting to control dengue
The meeting was held to discuss the measures to control the outbreak of dengue during the Commonwealth games. The CWG Federation has sent advisories to 71 particpating nations cautioning them against the rising cases.
Delhi health minister Kiran Walia who also attended the meeting, said that all agencies should work together to solve this problem.
"CM tells us that the main focus is to coordinate properly between the agency like NDMC, Metro, MCD and other agencies and do work for the public interest. We will meet on 15th again and we are checking every day at the stadium and cleaning water everyday if there is rain." added Walia.
The dengue outbreak has added to the woes surrounding the Commonwealth Games, which already has corruption charges against it.
