Samsung to launch multi-touch Wave S723 mobile

Beijing, Sep 2: The Korean based electronic manufacturer, Samsung, announced the launch of new mobile phone based on bada SDK 1.1 on Wednesday, Sep 1.

The new mobile, Samsung Wave S723, has a 3.2-inch TFT-LCD display and 5 megapixel camera with LED flash at rear. The camera also features geo-tagging and has an built in image editor.

The connectivity options include Bluetooth v3.0 (EDR), USB v2.0 and wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The internal memory will be 90 MB, which can be expanded up to 16GB using Micro SD cards.

The Wave S723 will be powered with 1200mAh Li-Ion battery and has the TouchWiz 3.0 running atop the OS and supports multi-touch. This new phone is regarded as a lower end alternative to the Samsung Wave.

Samsung officials told that the Wave S723 will hit the European market by mid of Sep 2010 but didn't reveal about the price.
