N Murthy receives Lifetime Achievement Award

For the fourth quarter ended Mar 31, 2010, Infosys received a year-on-year growth of 5.5 percent to Rs 5,944 crore. Net profit grew 2.6 percent sequentially, while revenues grew 3.5 percent.
Murthy was previously voted as the Asian heroes, along with Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi, who have brought about revolutionary changes in the last 60 years.
Murthy, a son of a school teacher, with his six co-founders funded in $250 in 1981 and then scaled it to a company with a valuation of $28 bn.
According to Murthy, "the best use of all the wealth - financial, intellectual, or emotional is to share it with the less fortunate."
Murthy shared wealth with his fellow workers, established best-in-class practices and called forth a whole generation of entrepreneurs.
