Mumbai: Widow held for heading sex racket

The police rescued six girls and arrested the owner Madhuri Palshetkar, who was allegedly the mastermind of the whole incident.
Contacted by the neighbours, police directed their spy acting as a customer and within an hour the police busted the operation and rescued six girls.
According to police sources, all the girls, aged between 20-30, belonged to middle-class families.
Few agents supplied girls to the widow and also arranged for the customers, said police.
The money was divided among the girls, owner and the agents. The girls received fifty percent, while the other fifty was divided between the agents and the woman.
The society got alerted as the group operated the sex racket on a daily basis.
