China striking friendship with ULFA?

ULFA
Guwahati, Sep 1: China's link with the militants of North East came to light again after receiving the information that the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) commander-in-chief Paresh Barua has received visa to visit China.

Highly placed security sources told The Assam Tribune that the visit was for a period of six months and it was stamped on the Bangladeshi passport used by him in the name of Kamrul Zaman.

Sources further said that this is not the first time Barua will be visiting China. Earlier he had visited many times. There are many militant groups in North East who frequently visit China for mutual cooperation with the country.

Most of the groups use weapons dumped by the Chinese Army as part of its modernization process.

One of the basic concerns in North East is the militants who are reportedly involved with many militants group of the neighbouring countries.
