YouTube plans pay-per-view service for new movies
The Financial Times reported that Google Inc, parent company of YouTube, is in talks with several leading Hollywood studios since several months. The new report came just few hours after YouTube announces the launch of free full movies on it's site.
By the launch of this new pay-per-view subscription service, users can stream new full movies on YouTube when they're released on DVD and also available through with Amazon plus Apple's iTunes service. YouTube is planning to launch the service first in United States and later to rest of the world.
By the new plan, Google is trying to gain supremacy in the multimedia distribution market through it's Picasa image service and YouTube video service.
