'French Spiderman' in a net for climbing Sydney's Lumiere building
Melbourne, Aug 30 (ANI): French stuntman Alain Robert has been arrested for climbing a skyscraper in Sydney's CBD.
Robert, known as the French Spiderman, climbed the 57-storey Lumiere building on Bathurst Street in about 20 minutes.
Publicity agent Max Markson has described the climb as a wonderful achievement.
"He's the best at what he does," News.com.au quoted Markson as saying.
"I'm sad he's been arrested but hopefully he'll get out soon and we can have some champagne," he added.
Robert, who has been trying to draw attention to the problem of global warming, has previously climbed the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the Eiffel Tower and the New York Times building. (ANI)
