CBI court adjourns Shah's bail plea till Sep 7

Ahmedabad, Aug 30: The bail application of former Gujarat minister Amit Shah is adjourned by the special CBI court on Monday, Aug 30 till Sep 7.

Special CBI Judge G K Upadhyay adjourned the matter after Shah"s counsel sought more time as their senior counsel Ram Jethmalani could not come for the hearing.

This the third time that the matter has been adjourned as Jethmalani was not able to appear in the court.

Former Gujarat minister Amit Shah was arrested by CBI on Jul 25 in connection with the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case and charged with murder, extortion and kidnapping.

Four IPS officers have been arrested in the case including D G Vanzara, Raj Kumar Pandiyan, Dinesh M N and Abhay Chudasma.
