Naxals kill 5 security personnel in Chhattisgarh

Naryanpur, Aug 29: Five security personnel were killed in an encounter between Naxals in Naryanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday, Aug 29.

The killed security personnel include three Border Security Force (BSF) jawans. The heavily armed Naxals attacked the Naryanpur army district headquarters and the gunbattle has been going on since 5 am.

The state officials reported that the Naxals have cut all routes to Naryanpur and the attack was well organized. The highly dense forests and geographic speciality help the Naxals to attack the security personnel.
