'Blind Date' contestant hangs herself for being 'too ugly'

London, Aug 28 (ANI): A former 'Blind Date' contestant has killed herself as she thought she was ugly and her boyfriend would leave her.

Pamela Noble hanged herself after an argument with her live-in boyfriend Graeme Lewis at their home in Carlisle last December.

She had appeared on the ITV1 show 'Blind Date' in 2002.

Her family claimed she was insecure about her looks and suffered from 'crippling low self-esteem'.fter her death her devastated boyfriend, Graeme, told an inquest that his girlfriend had convinced herself, with no grounds, that he was unfaithful, and would frequently spiral into depression.

"She would have a couple of bad days and she would spiral into depression," the Daily Mail quoted Graeme as saying.

"Everywhere we went and everything we did she became suspicious of my actions.

"But when she was on top of things, we could not have had a better life together.

"Pamela loved her family and friends and I believe to this day that she would never do anything to hurt anybody," he added. (ANI)
