Rahul to interact with Haryana students

New Delhi, Aug 27: Rahul headed to Haryana to interact with students on Friday, Aug 27, day after meeting the tribals in Orissa.

Rahul has been focusing on farmers' protests over land acquisition.In fact, the Opposition in the state Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Ajit Singh accompanied thousands of farmers and marched to the Capital to protest on Thursday, Aug 26.

Farmers from UP protested against land acquisition for the Yamuna Expressway by the UP government.

According to CNN-IBN, Ajit Sngh's RLD is at the forefront in support of farmers "Last year, the farmers took the sugarcane protest to Delhi. If the government is unfair to farmers, they will not let it live in peace. The government has to listen to us," he said.

The protest is a tactic farmer leadership from Western UP which was used in the past.

The message for the farmers' gathering in Delhi is vivid. Like the nuke bill, the government will have to gang up all parties and amendments on the land acquisition law has to be tackled in the Rajya Sabha.

"We will have to be taken on board. The PM should call a meeting of all political parties to solve this issue," said Arun Jaitley, leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha.
