Sohrabuddin case: CBI to question Geetha Johri

Ahmedabad, Aug 26: The former CID supervising officer accused in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case Geetha Johri made her second appearance before the CBI on Thursday, Aug 26.

DGP Johri arrived at the CBI headquarters in Ahmedabad, putting an end to speculation that she would ignore the court summons once again. This was her third summons for questioning in connection with the Sohrabuddin Sheikh case.

Geetha, posted with CID (crime) between 2007 and 2009,allegedly conducted inadequate investigations in the case failed to present herself for questioning earlier due to ill health.
