Nithyananda devotees demand action against Lenin

Bangalore, Aug 25: Just when the public thought that the Swami Nithyananda sex scandal drama had died down, the followers of the controversial godman have now raised their voice demanding action against Lenin Kuruppan.

Devotees of the scandal-tainted Swami gathered outside the Ramanagaram SP's office on Tuesday, Aug 24 to stage a protest demanding an FIR against Lenin, who was apparantly the one behind the exposure of Nithyananda's 'sexcapades'.

On Aug 9, as many as 40 followers of Nithyananda lodged individual complaints against Lenin, the former disciple and driver of the religious guru who reportedly filmed Nithyananda in a compromising position with an actress.

“We waited for 15 days and approached the police again on Monday (Aug 23), but in vain," the disguntled devotees are quoted as saying.

The devotees have accused Lenin of fixing spy cameras and filming Nithyananda besides abusing the swami, his ashram and the inmates.
