Tharoor's honeymoon disrupted by technical snag

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 24: Congress MP, Shashi Tharoor and wife Sunanda Pushkar started their honeymoon with a disruption from technical snag.

According the sources, while their flight took off from Thiruvananthapuram at 5 am on Tuesday, Aug 24, it returned within half an hour due to a technical snag.

However, their flight has been rescheduled for the afternoon on Tuesday, Aug 24.

The newly married couple were moving to Dubai on Aug 24 to attend a reception party and move on to Spain for a short honeymoon, sources said.

Tharoor and Sunanda tied the knot on the very first day of Onam on Aug 22 at the 200-year-old ancestral house in Kerala.

The wedding is the third for both Tharoor and Dubai-based Sunanda Pushkar, a Kashmiri.
