BJP to help economic development in NE region

Gadkari further declared that students hailing from the region studying in different parts of the country can seek help of the party"s local units, legislators and MPs, in case of any difficulty.
The function held at Constitution Club of India was attended by top BJP central leaders including chairman of the Parliamentary Party, L K Advani, Leader of Opposition, Arun Jaitley and Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
Addressing the function, Advani referred the state of Assam is under sever threat because of the external aggression from the neighboring country.
Both Gadkari and Advani took turns in criticising the UPA Government for its inaction in tackling the problem of illegal influx of the Indo-China border.
The function ended with BJP assuring all assistance to students from the region in admission, accommodation, city-related information, employment counselling among other India states.
