4 Maoists captured in Bihar

Sasaram (Bihar), Aug 24: Four alleged Maoists were captured by villagers who later handed them over to police in Rohtas district on Tuesday, Aug 24 said police.

A self-proclaimed Zonal Commander of the banned CPI (Maoist) Satyendra Singh alias Shekhar and naxalite Mohan ji and Bishun Oraon were among four captured by the villagers, they said.

One rifle, two guns, hand grenades and some live cartridges were seized from them, the police said.

They were involved in several operations carried out by the Maoists in the district, they revealed.
