Nifty ends on a flat note

The shares of Capital goods, power, technology, telecom, auto, PSU oil & gas and select financial companies helped the Nifty to end at new 30-month high.
However, the sell-off in heavyweights like Reliance Industries, ITC, HDFC, HDFC Bank and DLF along with Sterlite, Reliance Infrastructure, Sun Pharma, Ranbaxy and Jaiprakash Associates capped the gains.
The Sensex closed at 18409, up 7.5 points and the Nifty was at 5543, up 13 points.
BPCL, Jindal Steel, Cipla, Bharti Airtel were among the top gainers with 11.07 percent, 2.96 percent, 2.32 percent, 2.27 percent up respectively.
Reliance Infra, Jaiprakash Asso, ITC, Hindalco were among the top losers with 2.35 percent, 2.18 percent, 1.97 percent, 1.68 percent down respectively.

Trade continues on flat note, BPCL surges
Markets continues in green, but still on flat note due to lack of global cues. European markets and US index futures were flat in trade.
Auto, telecom, oil marketing, capital goods, technology and select power companies' shares make profit.
Reliance Industries, ITC, HDFC Bank, Jaiprakash Associates, Hindalco, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Reliance Infrastructure, DLF, Sun Pharma and Sterlite Industries were facing selling pressure.
At 02.15 hrs, BSE Sensex was 18432.05 up 30.17 points and NSE Nifty was 5542.80 up 15.80 points.
The active in trading were BPCL, Reliance, Larsen, Tata Motors.
The top gainers were BPCL up 10.60 percent, Jindal Steel up 3.16 percent, ONGC up 3.16 perecent and Cipla up 2.29 percent.
The top losers were Hindalco down 2.04 percent, Jaiprakash Asso down 1.86 percent, Reliance Infra down 1.03 percent and ITC down 1.69 percent.

Market trades in green, BPCL gains
Markets were trading in green. The Nifty was in a tight range of 5519-5542 and has been consolidating for the second consecutive day.
Auto, telecom, oil marketing, capital goods, technology and select power companies' shares make profit. ONGC, SBI, Cipla, Unitech and HUL were supporting the market.
Reliance Industries, ITC, HDFC Bank, Jaiprakash Associates, Hindalco, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Reliance Infrastructure, DLF, Sun Pharma and Sterlite Industries were facing selling pressure.
At 12.25 hrs, BSE Sensex was 18432.51 up 30.69 points and NSE Nifty was 5542.80 up 12.15 points.
The active in trading were BPCL, Reliance, Larsen, Tata Steels.
The top gainers were BPCL up 9.06 percent, Jindal Steel up 2.85 percent, ONGC up 2.72 precent and Cipla up 2.18 percent.
The top losers were Jaiprakash Asso down 2.06 percent, ITC down 1.69 percent, HDFC Bank down 1.03 percent and Hindalco down 1.43 percent.

Nifty starts trading on flat note, Tata gains
Nifty started trading on a negative flat note. Realty, capital goods, auto, select telecom and banking companies' shares were trading higher.
Ambuja Cements, JSPL, Cipla, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Suzlon Energy, HDFC, Tata Steel, BPCL Ranbaxy Labs, Bharti Airtel and SBI were witnessing buying interest.
At 9.25 hrs, BSE Sensex was 18388.92 down 12.90 points and NSE Nifty was 5520.65 down 10.00 points.
The active in trading were Tata Motors, Reliance, DLF, Larsen.
The top gainers were Jindal Steel up 2.23 percent, Suzlon Energy up 1.82 perecent, Mahindra and Mahindra up 1.70 percent and Ambuja Cements up 1.35 percent.
The top losers were ITC down 1.66 percent, Hindalco down 1.43 percent, Jaiprakash Asso down 1.21 percent and HDFC Bank down 1.03 percent.
