Delhi: Yamuna crosses danger mark

New Delhi, Aug 21: The Yamuna river water level has crossed the danger mark in the nation's capital New Delhi, posing a threat to many areas, an official said on Friday, Aug 20.

An alert has also been sounded among colonies in the low-lying areas of Delhi.

The water level has just crossed the danger level of 204.8 metres.

According to the official sources the level has increased to a centimetre above the danger mark, and is expected to rise further.
