Rains batter Delhi for third day

According to official data, the city received 31.7 mm of rainfall from Friday, Aug 20 morning till 8:30 am Saturday, Aug 21.
"One or two spells of heavy rainfall are predicted in parts of the city. The skies will continue to remain cloudy," saind an IMD official.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius while the maximum is expected to hover around 32 degrees.
The temperature range is normal for this time of the year, the IMD official informed.
The national capital has received a total 617 mm of rainfall this monsoon. The highest recorded rainfall being the downpour of 110 mm between Thursday, Aug 19 and Friday, Aug 20.
Even though the dip in temperature comes as a saving grace for Delhiites, the people are not able to enjoy the monsoon due to waterlogging and traffic snarls.
