Madani likely to be interrogated in Madikeri

Bangalore, Aug 20: Abdul Naseer Madani, one of the main accused in Bangalore serial blast 2008 case, would be taken to Madikeri in a day or two for investigation, said sources on Friday, Aug 20.

According to DNA, he would be shifted to Madikeri as revelations showed that Madani conducted conspiracy meetings at the rented houses in Ernakulam and in Madikeri along with T Naseer and Abdul Raheem, the 12th accused in the case.

The sources said that police may take Madani and Naseer face to face with each other.

According the daily, police got some proofs, which revealed that Madani had contacted T Naseer, the prime accused in the case, before and after the Bangalore blast.

However, police official said, "We are in the late stage of investigation. Before revealing any details we have to go through the supreme court and high court. But interrogation is going on and we are hoping to continue it smoothly."

As the sources said, after a medical check up, Madani, who has been interrogated in an undisclosed location in city, was allowed to to observe Ramzan fast.
