Japanese Foreign Minister to visit India on Aug 21

New Delhi, Aug 20 (ANI): Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada, who will arrive in India on a two-day visit on Saturday, will call on Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and reportedly discuss issues concerning bilateral civil nuclear cooperation with New Delhi.

The visiting dignitary is also expected to meet External Affairs Minister S M Krishna later in the day and hold a joint press conference in the evening.

Katsuya Okada will hold a meeting Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia on Saturday evening.

Okada will also meet Minister of State for Environment and Forests Jairam Ramesh on Sunday afternoon before flying back to Japan. (ANI)
