Two killed, another missing after Army helicopter crashes in Nagaland
Imphal, Aug 18 (ANI): At least two persons were killed and another went missing after an Army helicopter crashed along the Nagaland-Manipur border on Wednesday.
A Cheetah helicopter, crashed five kilometers from the Vishwema helipad at around 8:45 a.m.
According to a defence spokesperson the bodies of the two victims have been recovered, while a search is on for the third person.
The identity of the three victims has been withheld, as the families have to be informed first.
The helicopter was on a routine sortie and crashed due to bad weather, the spokesperson said.
An inquiry has been ordered into the mishap. (ANI)
