Now, hi-tech packaging to prevent chocolate bars from melting
London, Aug 18 (ANI): Melting Dairy Milk chocolate bars could be a thing of the past, thanks to Kraft Foods' efforts to look for hi tech packaging that would keep those choco bars intact.
The US group, which owns Cadbury, has begun searching for hi-tech "thin film" packaging for its chocolate bars to "minimise melting" in temperatures of up to 40C.
The packaging could also prevent the white "bloom" discoloration that appears on chocolate if it is stored in direct sunlight, reports the Telegraph.
NineSigma, a US consultancy, has issued the design tender on Kraft's behalf, as part of its open innovation programme. (ANI)
