New laptop with 4TB storage & Intel Core i7
Ottawa, Aug 18: Canadian PC maker, Eurocom, announces the launch of new laptops with a storage capacity of 4 Terabyte (4000GB) and Intel's fastest six-core processor.
The new laptop, Panther 2.0, will be helpful to run high-end graphics and CAD (computer-aided design) programs. The 4 TB storage capacity was housed in four slots, with a separate drive in each.
Panther 2.0 was loaded with Intel's Core i7 Extreme Edition or Xeon 5600 chips, which have up to six processor cores and run at speeds of up to 3.33GHz. It also has 17.3-inch screen, 3.0-megapixel webcam and comes with up to 24GB of internal memory.
It supports AMD's CrossFire X and Nvidia's Scalable Link Interface (SLI) technologies to link graphics cards together. The new product is expected to hit the markets by Sep 2010.
