Technical snag delays Jetlite flight by 3 hrs
"The flight, scheduled at 0700 hours was delayed by two hours 55 minutes due to a technical snag in the aircraft," a Jet Airways spokesperson said.
However, the airline operated another aircraft to ferry stranded passengers to their destination.
"We have transferred all the passengers to another aircraft now operating as 9W111, which took off at 1000 hours," the spokesperson said.
Civil aviation regulator DGCA recently issued new guidelines on flight delays which envisage compensation to passengers by the airline in case of a delay.
