Madani likely to surrender before magistrate's court
Kollam (Kerala), Aug 17 (ANI): People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader Abdul Nasser Madani, a prime accused in the 2008 Bangalore serial blasts case, is likely to surrender before a Kerala magistrate's court on Tuesday.
Madani's advocate said his client would surrender before the Karunagappally Judicial Magistrate's court in Kollam.
Two Karnataka senior police officers, including Bangalore Joint Commissioner Alok Kumar arrived in Kollam on Monday to ensure surrenders at the nearest court.
On August 11, Madani said he was ready to cooperate with police if a non-bailable warrant was produced before him.
He had earlier spent nine years behind bars in connection with the 1998 Coimbatore serial blasts in which 58 people were killed. (ANI)
