Former J-K police official dies in road accident
Srinagar, Aug 17 (ANI): A retired sub inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir Police died in a road accident in Batamaloo.
"Today at about 3 p.m. an unknown vehicle hit one Mohammad Yousaf Khan, a retired ASI of Jammu and Kashmir Police, resulting in his death on the spot," sources said.
Khan was resident of Shiekh Dawood Colony under the jurisdiction of Batamaloo Police Station.
Efforts are being made by the police to identify the vehicle and arrest the driver.
The police has solved many such blind hit and run cases in the past and they hope that they would be able to nab the culprit and bring him to justice this time also. (ANI)
