'Muderer' techie Satish Gupta
Bangalore, Aug 16: The Infosys techie, who killed his teacher wife, has reportedly revealed that the motive behind his heinous crime was his love for his parents.

The Infosys HR Manager Satish Gupta killed his wife on Tuesday, Aug 10 over a domestic row. During his questioning, the husband revealed that his wife, who worked as a teacher in Delhi Public School (DPS), mistreated his parents

Quoting police a leading tabloid reported that Satish accused Priyanka of ill-treating his parents forcing them to start living separately for the past eight months.

Priyanka allegedly created a scene whenever his parents visited and humiliated them, the Mid-Day report said, adding that she used to also fight with Satish over giving them money.

'Killer spouses': Divorce is an option, not murder

To put an end to all this, Satish chalked out a murder plan. He killed his wife by strangulating her and slitting her throat in the wee hours of Aug 10.

He had insisted on his friend coming jogging with him so that he had an alibi. And while he was jogging, he even pretended to have received a call from his wife about strangers at the door.

"We have another six days to corroborate the material evidence as the accused is not cooperating with the police," Deputy Commissioner of Police BNS Reddy told the tabloid.
