50-hr encounter ends in JK, all militants killed

Jammu, Aug 16: The 50-hr encounter between militants and security forces, which was started on Saturday, Aug 14 in Rajouri district of Kashmir, finally came to its end on Monday, Aug 16.

During the encounter one more Lashkar-e-Taiba militant one more jawan were killed and three others were injured on Aug 16.

Three LeT militants had been killed in the encounter which started when security forces launched a search operation in Shara Wali forest belt in the district on Saturday, Aug 14.

The militants were believed to involved in the attack on a passenger bus in Rajouri in Aug 2010.

The LeT militant killed today has been identified as Zargar.

The deceased army jawan was identified as sepoy SK Singha.
