1 Army jawan and 2 terrorists killed in JK

Rajouri (Jammu Kashmir), Aug 16: As the attack continue in Rajouri district in Jammu Kashmir since Saturday, Aug 14, an army jawan and two terrorists have been killed in the encounter.

As per NDTV report, a policeman and a civilian have also been injured.

Acting on a tip-off that some militants were hiding in Rajdhani forest belt at Thanamandi, troops of Rashtriya Rifles and police launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area.

Police sources said the suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants were involved in the attack on an Army convoy at Der-Ki-Gali in Rajouri district on Wednesday, Aug 11.
