Sonia Gandhi unfurls tricolour at Congress headquarter

New Delhi, Aug 15 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi unfurled the national tricolour at the Congress headquarter this morning on the occasion of the 64th Independence Day.

Gandhi saluted the national flag to the tune of the national anthem on the occasion.

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh attended the function along with a host of other Congress leaders, volunteers and children.

Dr Singh also distributed sweets to the children and got photographed with them.

Both Sonia Gandhi and Dr Manmohan Singh reportedly refused to address the media on the occasion. (ANI)
