Srinagar, Aug 15: After outraged mobs started throwing stones on CRPF jawans, open fire caused two people to death, which raised the death toll to 57 in Jammu Kashmir on Saturday, Aug 14.

According the sources, CRPF jawans were attacked with stones and bricks by a violent mob in Anantnag district of Jammu Kashmir.

"Three other protesters injured in the incident have been shifted to the hospital in Srinagar city," he added.

A valley wide curfew was again issued by the government to prevent violence by protesting mobs in Kashmir on Saturday, Aug 14.
