Bhopal, Aug 14: Four of the 61 trucks loaded with about 300 tonnes of explosives, which went missing, were found empty in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh.

On Friday, Aug 13, 61 trucks with explosives worth of 1.30 crore were gone missing. The trucks were sent from a Rajasthan based factory to Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh.

Police officials told that four trucks were found abandoned in Rajgarh, about 300 km from Sagar town where the 300-tonne consignment of explosives was to be delivered.

"The company that ordered for explosives had surrendered its licence before the order for explosives was booked. I suspect the explosives were diverted in transit," said Anvesh Mangalam, Sagar Range Inspector General of Police.

"I am collecting all information, compiling all documents, interrogating a few people in a bid to solve the case," he added.
