RRB exams to resume from Sep 26

New Delhi, Aug 13: After a gap of almost two months of the Central Bureau of Investigation exposure of sale of question paper, the Railways have decided to resume the examinations of the Railway Recruitment Boards from Sep 26.

"The examinations would be held under a new full-proof system," said a Railway official.

Railways, which have about two lakh vacancies, started the recruitment exercise for filling about 40,000 posts in phases on Jun 6.

Describing the unearthing of the alleged scam in CBI examinations, Chairman Railway Board Vivek Sahai had earlier said they would adopt "checks and balances" in the examination procedure to prevent leakage of question papers.
