MySpace unveils new user homepage

The social networking website, MySpace, unveiled the new user homepage which has several similarities to Facebook.
MySpace started previewing the new version homepage on Thursday, Aug 12 before the official redesign on Aug 19.
MySpace's new 'two column stream' includes one stream, which is made up of status updates from friends, and the other lists what pieces of content are being shared by a person"s network.
New design also includes a 'My Stuff', which allows users quick access to their photos, videos and music without needing to leave the homepage.
The new 'Recommendations' section combined Featured Games, People You May Know, and Recommended Events.
MySpace was founded in 2003, at its peak had more than 100 million registered members. But it's audience numbers dropped by 49 per cent over 2009, falling from 6.5 million visitors in May 2009, to just 3.3 million in May 2010.
