George Michael charged over drugs

London, Aug 13, It is the seventh time for Pop star George Michael who has been charged with drugs and driving offenses by British police after his car crashed into a building.

The troubled singer, 47, was charged with possession of cannabis for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Michael is said to appear at London's Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Aug. 24.

He was even banned from driving for two years in 2007 after pleading guilty to driving while on drugs.
