Apple to launch CDMA iPhone?
Daring Fireball"s John Gruber, blogger from the greater Philadelphia, reported that CDMA iPhone is codenamed as 'N92' and reached 'engineering verification test' (EVT) status. He also reported that CDMA iPhone is apparently just two hops away from production.
The EVT stage is followed by 'device verification testing' (DVT), which is the final stage of testing before a handset is sent off to production.
Bloomberg also reported that the CDMA iPhone will hit the markets by Jan 2011.
