Spiritual healing gaining popularity in Varanasi

Varanasi, Aug 11 (ANI): A unique method of spiritual healing is being practiced here for the treatment of diseases.

Trainers said the method involves removal of negative energy from the body of the patient, and replacing it with positive energy.

"We teach 'Pranic' (spiritual) healing. This is a unique treatment, which does not involve medicines of physical touch. There are 'Chakrras' (pressure points) in our body. We remove negative energy from those points and transfer positive energy. This is how we treat all the diseases," said Geeta Devi, a trainer.

Many camps have been put up across the city where people are also taught the method.

The locals said that the method also helped them psychologically.

"All kinds of diseases can be healed through this process. Any disease, be it a damaged liver, joint pain, or psychological disorders could be healed using the blessings and energy of God," said Ajay Aggarwal, a patient.
