Raj Thackeray deploys MNS-men against multiplexes
Mumbai, Aug 11: After telling his partymen to clean up Mumbai to fight against Malaria, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief, Raj Thackeray, has now directed the party's cine workers to begin a sweeping campaign against multiplexes that are not showing Marathi films.
"Prepare a list of multiplexes that are not showing Marathi films from tomorrow," Raj told his partymen in Mumbai on Tuesday, Aug 10.
Speaking at the third anniversary of MNS Cine Workers Association, the MNS supremo accused the multiplexes of violating the government resolution which makes showing of Marathi films compulsory.
"I want everything in Maharashtra to reflect the Marathi culture," he said.
