Bangalore roads being renamed; any objections?

Bangalore, Aug 10: The Bruhut Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), which in Jul 2010 decided to rename a few roads in Jayanagar locality, has called for objections from the public.

The following is the list of roads are set to get a brand new identity:

- The entrance to the circle in Mahalakshmi Extension to be renamed as 'ISKCON Temple Circle'

- 'Professor M Gopalakrishna Adiga Road' is the name mooted for the 36th Cross between 5th Main and 11th Main in Jayanagar 5th Block

- 'Dasavarenya Kanakadasa Road' for 46th Cross between 5th Main and 11th Main in Jayanagar 5th Block

- 'Swami Vivekananda Marg' for 40th Cross between 9th Main and 46th Crossroad in Jayanagar 5th Block

- 'Sri DA Pandu Road' for 5th Crossroad on 24th Main of JP Nagar 1st Stage

- 'Sri BL Lakke Gowda Road' for 16th Main between 32nd Cross and 39th Cross in Jayanagar 4th Block

The BBMP is now receiving objections from the public.
